MACH 2010

At its second exhibition of 2010, June saw D. G. Controls back at MACH, the UK’s leading manufacturing technologies exhibition. Held at the NEC Birmingham,  MACH is recognised as a shop window for all types of machines and equipment used in engineering based manufacturing.

An integral part of the marketing strategy, exhibitions are a great opportunity to show much of the deegee catalogue of enclosures and circuit technologies, and prove a worthwhile forum at which to discuss specific product requirements with the deegee sales team.

MACH is a biennial event hosted by the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), a UK based trade association dealing specifically with engineering based manufacturing.  D. G. Controls has been part of the MTA since 2008, when it first exhibited at MACH.

The week at MACH proved especially fruitful with a number of discussions with one of the UK’s leading automotive manufacturers regarding the deegee stacking beacon ANDON range.  With a portfolio which includes LED, xenon and filament technology, and being the only beacon company to offer 7 different colours and a sounder unit, the deegee stacker is wholly versatile for all your signalling requirements.

For further details of any of the deegee beacon and sounder range, visit our website.

Don’t forget – we are at SPS/IPC/Drives in November!

Icelandic Volcano Ash – Hannover 2010

Preparations for this year’s show in Hannover are progrssing very well, including the stand being built by the on-site team.  All the kit is on site and the team are on schedule for a Sunday hand-over.

However, due to the ongoing and ever changing situation with flights in and out of the UK caused by the volcanic activity in Iceland, we have implemented our travel contingency plans for the team due to man the stand next week.  The team will be on-site as expected on Monday morning ready to meet all of you who are able to brave this unprecidented situation.

Safe travels – we look forward to meeting you all next week.

It’s that time of year again when all is in full swing…

deegee at Hannover Messe 2010 - Hall 8 Stand B02

It’s that time of year again when all is in full swing getting ready for the Hannover Messe 2010.  Having had a great response to our 2009 location, you can once again find deegee in Hall 8 Stand B02.

Running from 19th – 23rd April 2010, Hannover Messe has always been a platform for meeting with the deegee distribution partners, both long-standing and new, and for discussing the beacon and sounder range with potential end-users from around the world.  2010 will prove to be no different; meetings have been scheduled with some of our newest clients, one of whom is working on a significant volume project with us on a new signalling concept.

This year the stand will be hosted by deegee’s Managing Director, Jon Whiten, who will be ably assisted by Office Manager Lisa Baum, and Sales Administrator Stacey Porter.  Operations Director, Wendy Whiten, will remain in the UK with the Whiten’s two sons, the younger at just 4 months old.

Success for deegee at SPS/IPC/Drives 2009

With the team and the kit now back in Swadlincote, the resounding feeling is a positive one with regards to the quality of the meetings which took place at SPS Drives 2009.

A number of existing deegee distributors came to the stand to share their marketing plans for 2010, and some good contacts were made into other countries where deegee isn’t currently represented.  With the follow-up made and end-user contacts passed onto distributors, only time will tell, but on the whole the show was considered a great success for the business.

Next confirmed stop on the exhibition circuit Hannover Messe 2010……
