The D. G. Controls SBB LED Obstacle Warning Beacon is an ICAO Annex 14 Chapter 6 compliant low intensity Type-B, fixed obstacle light. Available with Infra-Red, our SBB is also compliant with the IR requirements for low intensity obstruction lights outlined by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency.
This beacon is perfectly suited to the outdoor environment with its IP66 rated enclosure, carefully designed to minimise dust and dirt build up. It is fully water tight and has an anti-tamper screw into a blind hole in the lens fitting.
Designed using LED’s that offer a high light intensity to ensure that the required brightness levels are met, the enclosure has a 360-degree light output around the vertical axis.
With obstacle warning lights required on high rise structures such as buildings, masts, towers, wind turbines, cranes and more, we use long life LED’s in these beacons, therefore little maintenance is required, making this beacon perfectly suited for those hard to reach areas where ICAO beacons are required for!
