The SBB///LED-Type-B/Red conforms to ICAO Annex 14 Chapter 6 regulations for low-intensity Type B fixed obstacle lights. Infra-Red (IR) models also comply with the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency’s IR requirements for low-intensity obstruction lights. The 360-degree viewing enclosure of the SBB Type-B uses a different set of LEDs than the larger SBG Type-B, providing a higher light intensity per LED to meet the necessary brightness levels within the more compact Series B housing. The Series B features an IP66 rated enclosure with pre-moulded drill-outs for M10 and M20 cable gland entries. The lens is mounted with a specially designed O-ring and bayonet fitting, secured with an anti-tamper screw. Designed to minimize dirt and dust accumulation, the Series B is fully waterproof, making it ideal for outdoor use, and with long-life LEDs, requires minimal maintenance.
